FAQ

There's no need to worry, we have you covered from start to fantastic.

Where do you work out?

Fit 2 You brings fitness to you! As great as the van is, you do not work out in the van! We provide mobile personal training at your home, office, community center, or local park - wherever you need us we will be there.

What do I need for equipment?

Absolutely nothing.  We bring all the equipment to you wherever you might be. Our vans are equipped with Kettlebells, Exercise Bands, Adjustable Dumbbells, TRX, TRX Rip Trainers, Sandbags, Bosu Balls, Stability Balls, Medicine Balls, and more.

What do you charge for the first visit?

Our first no-obligation one hour consultation is completely free. In the consultation, we see where you are starting from and give you the opportunity to make sure you like how we do things.  We take you through a sample workout that includes a basic movement screening, so that we can go over your form, and we talk through what you are looking to get out of workouts with Fit 2 You.

How long are your sessions?

Each session is one hour in length, and what is done during that one hour completely depends on your goals and abilities, and will shift over time as your fitness level progresses.

Who are your clients? Do I need to already be fit to train with you?

We have extensive experience working with adults of all ages (from those in their twenties to seniors looking to remain active), pre-teens and teens, and people of all ability levels (athletes to someone looking to do their first workout). We have the flexibility to accommodate all sorts of schedules - from working professionals, to stay-at-home moms, to retirees. We also have expertise in helping prenatal and postnatal moms stay active in a safe way that accommodates their needs. We provide one-on-one, small group (up to 4 people), and larger group (5 to 25 people) sessions (including offering corporate wellness programs).

We’ve been honored to coach everyone from an 80 year-old grandfather who wants to pick up his grandchildren to a high school athlete who wants to be in shape for tennis for their upcoming season.. Built on best practices from our fitness experience, we will customize a workout program that considers your abilities and meets your health and fitness needs.

What if I have injuries or have never worked out before?

Fit 2 You is perfect for people who are uncomfortable in a big box gym or have never worked out before at all. Many of our clients are working through some sort of ache, pain or coming off a major or minor injury.

How much does it cost?

That depends on your goals and the frequency with which you want to train with Fit 2 You. Our session packages are customized depending on your needs.

Where do you travel to?

We are based out of Charlestown, but we travel anywhere within 30 miles of Boston.

How often should I train with Fit 2 You?

That really depends on your goals, and what you are training for. We recommend our clients train with us 2-4 times per week, but some work out more or less frequently depending on their situation.

What makes you/your staff qualified to be trainers? Why should I work with you?

Aaron has been working in the fitness world since 2002. He is certified through ACE and ISSA as a certified personal trainer. He worked as a trainer, manager, and owner within the Fitness Together franchise for fourteen years. Aaron has experience working with and can relate to people of all ages, shapes, and sizes.

Do you offer group sessions and one-on-one?

Yes, we can format our workouts many different ways. One-on-one sessions give you personalized attention and focus solely on meeting your needs and your fitness goals. Group sessions are also a great option for people who enjoy the camaraderie and social interaction of a group workout. We can work with 1 person or 25. You tell us what you need and we will tailor a workout to make that happen.

Do you offer nutrition advice?

Yes, we are not dietitians, but we can give you as much or as little advice as you need in this department. It is by no means a requirement, but our clients often keep food journals either online or with pen and paper where we can give advice or offer thoughts on healthier alternatives. Depending on your needs, we can also refer you to local dieticians in the area.

Success Stories

"Aaron is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and patient and was always flexible in adjusting my workouts as my fitness goals changed.  He gave me the tools I needed to reach my full potential as a runner.  I have been able to meet running goals that were not possible before, including qualifying for the Boston Marathon 2 years in a row.  I just feel stronger in my body.  Aaron helped me make the leap from stroller strider to competitive runner and I am so grateful for all the amazing fitness wisdom he gave me over the years!"
